Kim Kardashian has wedding bells in her future!

The reality star is engaged to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, who she has been dating for six months.

"I didn't expect this at all," the 30-year-old star told People. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Kris surprised Kim at her Beverly Hills home on May 18, when she came into her bedroom and found him on one knee with "Will you marry me?" spelled out in rose petals on the floor.

The basketball player presented Kim with a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.

"I just knew I wanted it to be big," Kris, 26, told the mag.

Following the proposal, the couple celebrated with the entire Kardashian clan - and a two four-legged friends!

"Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," Kim told the mag. "Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!"

On Wednesday morning, Kim's family hit Twitter to congratulate the happy couple.

"I can't believe I was able to keep this a secret but now I can scream all I want about it! Kim is engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!," Khloe Kardashian, who has her own NBA beau in husband Lamar Odom, Tweeted.

Sister Kourtney Kardashian wrote, "My sister is engaged!!! I'm squealing with excitement! The princess has found her prince. I am so happy because @KimKardashian is happy!"

Mom Kris Jenner added, "YIIPPEEE SO HAPPY!!!!!... Congratulations Kim and Kris!!! @kimkardashian is engaged."
