Julie Benz has married her longtime love, Rich Orosco.

The former "Dexter" actress, 40 -- who was most recently seen on CBS' "A Gifted Man" -- wed Rich, a marketing executive, at the John Sowden house in Los Angeles, according to People.

The couple chose to tie the knot on May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) as a nod to Rich's Mexican roots, with the celebration featuring a fiesta theme, the mag reports.

After dating for five years, Julie and Rich became engaged in June 2011 when the actress' now-husband proposed with a Kwiat platinum and cushion cut center stone ring, with a pave diamond frame.

The custom engagement ring wasn't the only proposal surprise. Rich had organized a party with more than five dozen of the couple's friends and family.

"The proposal was simple and beautiful - and then I was shocked by the pop-up surprise Mexican fiesta engagement party," Julie told People at the time. "What girl doesn't want to be serenaded by a Mariachi band surrounded by close friends and family?"
